How holocaust denial laws encourage holocaust unbelief

Is there any other genocide narrative than the holocaust that people can be imprisoned for claiming the possibility of an alternative narrative whether the mainstream narrative is true or not.  And if the mainstream narrative is true, the ultimate holocaust deniers are those who imprison holocaust deniers by forbidding the opportunity to those who hold the mainstream viewpoint to hear a false viewpoint and thus making the world free from the knowledge of how to refute the false viewpoint since it must be heard in order to be refuted this making it thus seem more plausible even if it is not plausible for unspoken reasons that can not be spoken due to censorship
